This pride month Berry Productions have been up and down the country creating events but our recent involvement in managing Wolverhampton Pride is a team favourite. Featuring an incredible lineup of talent including Duncan James, Denise Van Outen, Trixie Lee, and Jaymi Hensley. The team took on stage management and artist liaison to create a seamless show.
The Team Behind the Scenes:
From coordinating schedules to overseeing the backstage area. Our team had meticulous planning to ensure that the show ran on time working with presenters, performers and the stage crew. Our duties didn't end with the stage as we managed the entire backstage area, managing crew, and accreditation and the team handled dressing room changeovers too ensuring all talent were stocked up with refreshments and everything to make their dressing rooms as comfortable as possible.
We organised for each act what needed to be on stage including costumes to microphones and queued their entrance on stage in time with any music so the stars of the show had a seamless entry and exit from the stage.
The headlining Duncan James and Denise Van Outen provided by VLP Events and their associated dancers entered on stage precisely on time.
Berry Productions' timely management, secured the success of the show.
Berry Productions ensured we made up time if changeovers or performers slightly overran and also managed the presenters to fill time with more engaging talking or jumping to background music if talent wasn't quite ready.
Wolverhampton Council also provided BSL Signers which was an awesome addition to the event making it inclusive for all.
